L&T Technology Services, L&T Acquire 8.85% Stake in IRB InvIT Fund

Shares of IRB InvIT Fund (NSE: IRBINVIT) rose 0.064% after L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) jointly acquired a combined 8.85% stake in the infrastructure investing trust.
Exchange data shows that LTTS bought 72.37 lakh units at an average of ₹60.40 per unit, costing ₹43.71 crore, while L&T bought 4.41 crore units at ₹60.24 per unit, worth ₹266.19 crore. Together, the two entities bought ₹309.9 crore worth of units in open market transactions in the IRB InvIT Fund.

L&T Technology Services bought 72.37 lakh units at ₹60.40 per unit, for a total of ₹43.71 crore, representing a 1.43% stake. Larsen & Toubro bought 4.41 crore units at ₹60.24 per unit in ₹266.19 crore, which was a 7.42% stake. A total of 5.13 crore units at ₹309.90 crore were bought by both companies, representing an 8.85% stake.
Alpha Alternatives MSAR LLP, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Trust Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd., and Athena Enhanced Equity Fund collectively issued 8.23 crore units, which equated to a 14.19% stake at a total consideration value of ₹505.11 crore.

At 11:36 AM IST, IRB InvIT Fund shares traded at ₹62.38 and had increased 0.064% on October 17, 2025. IRB InvIT Fund opened at ₹61.84 and hit a high of ₹62.85 and dropped to its lowest intraday level of ₹61.18. The company’s market value stands at ₹3,620 crore. Currently, it has a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 13.42 and a satisfactory dividend yield of 12.82%.
The 52-Week Range of the stock also lies between ₹49.95 on the lower end and ₹67.00 on the higher end. The fund has also declared a quarterly dividend of ₹2 per unit. IRB InvIT Fund was also listed on May 18, 2017, and operates in the road and toll annuity hybrid sector, and also forms part of the Nifty REITs & InvITs Index.
